TANA avoids Chiru, Mohan Babu clash

     The annual ritual of Telugu Association of North America(TANA) which began with a lot of pomp and gaiety at Dallas on Friday night was marked by an interesting development.

     The TANA organisers invited megastar-turned-union minister K Chiranjeevi and also his bête noire and senior actor – Mohan Babu to the celebrations, but they ensured that both of them do not see eye to eye. While Chiranjeevi was invited for the first two days, Mohan Babu would attend the celebrations in the last two days.

     So, the TANA celebrations were formally launched by Chiranjeevi on Friday night. Of course, he drew huge crowds and particularly, the local Kapu community was overwhelmed by his arrival, for the first time after becoming the union tourism minister. He would be returning on Sunday; so the function would go on smoothly when Mohan Babu attends the closing ceremony!
